Helpful Hours

Helpful Hours is a FREE service available to anyone with hearing loss, their families and friends, or professionals in the deaf sector.

Our new service is available as a bookable webinar called ‘How to get the most from your audiology appointment’. It offers help and advice to people preparing to attend their first, or returning, audiology appointment.

We have two webinars taking place in the coming weeks:

  • Friday 17 November, 2-3pm
  • Wednesday 6 December, 11-12pm.

Please pass on details of these useful sessions to your patients or clients who are looking to build confidence before attending their appointment. It can also be a useful session for you and your colleagues to attend, including any audiologists in training.

Other ways we can work together

There are lots of other ways we can support the work of each other. Here’s how we can help you and your patients:

  • Referrals: Signpost your patients to our services by contacting our Helpdesk
  • Presentations: Find out more about our work by requesting a talk by one of our staff or peer support volunteer team
  • Literature: Request promotional literature to promote our services in your waiting room and other public facing areas.
