Cambridge Hard of Hearing Club
About the group
The Cambridge Hard of Hearing Club was founded in 1960 for people with hearing loss to enable them to socialise and share their common impairment experiences. The Club organises speakers with excellent talks about exotic travels, historical events, recycling, just to name a few. The Club also organises social gatherings where various board games are played such as scrabble, chess, cards and dominos or the opportunity to chat over a cup of tea and homemade cake. The annual subscription is £12, and entry per meeting at door is £2.
The Club is supported by Cambridge City Council and John Lewis Partnership.
Meetings are held monthly on the last Thursday of the month 2pm – 4pm. We have a good induction loop and speech to text support.
