Captioning Awareness Week 2017

This week marks the third annual Captioning Awareness Week (6th-11th November) run by the charity Stagetext.

The organisation is asking you to be a Caption Hero in a bid to raise awareness of captioning to people with hearing loss across the UK.

There are different ways you can become a Caption hero:

• Attend a captioned event, bringing along someone who could benefit from captions or subtitles
• Tell others about captioning
• Get involved in social media by following @Stagetext on Twitter and Facebook and post using the #CAPAware17
