Do you need extra support for hearing loss? Join our free webinar!

Our Helpful Hours sessions offer practical tips and friendly advice from people who understand. Led by trained volunteers with personal experience of hearing loss and deafness, each session is designed to help you manage the most common challenges people tell us they face.
We currently offer two different free sessions. You’re welcome to join one or both – whatever works best for you!
Our current sessions
- How to get the most from your audiology appointment – Learn how to prepare, what to expect, and feel more in control at your next appointment.
- Managing your healthcare and hearing loss – Discover how a little preparation can make a big difference and help your appointments run more smoothly.
“The information I learnt in the Helpful Hour session will help me clarify my thinking before an appointment and be more proactive during it. I’ll be less afraid to make my views heard. I feel better prepared now.”
Beth, Helpful Hours attendee
What to expect
Our webinars are run by our trained Peer Support volunteers who guide you through helpful strategies and share their own experiences.
All you need is an email address and a laptop, desktop, tablet or smartphone with internet access. Once you register, we’ll email you a link to the webinar. When it’s time, just click the link in your email to join the session.
Live captions are included, so you can read what the volunteers are saying, and BSL support can be arranged on request.
After the session we’ll send you all key information to keep and refer back to.
