Recruitment of new CEO: update

The first stage of interviews for our new CEO have now taken place. This will be followed by second and third interviews before Christmas, and we anticipate we will be able to offer the role of the successful candidate just before or after Christmas.

The Board of Trustees has confirmed that our new interim CEO, to lead the charity until our permanent CEO is appointed, will be Martin Farrow.

Martin is an accomplished CEO, Director, Non-Executive Director and Chair, with a career spanning 30 years in the health and social care sector. He has worked at senior and CEO level for a variety of commercial and charitable organisations including BUPA, Turning Point, Optalis and SHC Audiology.

Martin joins Hearing Dogs on 13 December.

We are expecting to have a gap of approximately three months before our permanent CEO joins our Hearing Dog family. The recruitment of Martin Farrow as interim CEO will ensure support to the Directors during this period.
