Tea, Talk and Takeaway – Edinburgh

If you feel left out of social activities and miss things because of your hearing loss, a new activity in Edinburgh is presenting the opportunity to meet others with similar experiences.

Tea, Talk and Takeaway is a joint initiative between Edinburgh City Council, Hearing Link, Deaf Action and Edinburgh & Lothians.

This free activity offers a fun way to meet and be involved in cooking a meal in a small social setting, as well as meeting with other people with hearing loss.

There will be different weekly activities and group members will leave with an additional meal to enjoy through the week.

The first session will take place on Tuesday 17th September at Gilmerton Community Centre from 2-5.30pm. It will run for eight weeks.
