Zebra crossings research: focus group invitation

Transport Scotland, supported by Jacobs and the University of Edinburgh, is undertaking research into how individuals who are deaf or have a hearing impairment, view and experience zebra crossings.

Individuals who are deaf or have a hearing impairment are invited to join an online focus group to share their views and experiences with the research team.

The research team is seeking views of people who use zebra crossings as well as those who do not. Findings will help identify potential changes which could improve how people with disabilities and older people use zebra crossings.

When: 6-8pm Wednesday 9th March via Zoom

People aged 18 and over – People living anywhere in Scotland – People who use zebra crossings as well as those who choose not to – Participation incentive of £20 shopping voucher available – British Sign Language Interpretation and Live Captioning will be available
