Research request from QMUL

If you’re between the ages of 18 and 70 and live with mild bilateral hearing loss, then researchers at Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL) would like your input for a current project.

The research team is carrying out a listening study evaluating performance on auditory tasks and speech recognition in listeners with real and simulated hearing loss.

The sessions will be approximately one hour, and they will take place in person at the Mile End campus of Queen Mary University of London (address: Mile End Rd, Bethnal Green, London E1 4NS).

The study will include standard audiometry, several auditory tasks involving identification of noise and tones, as well as a speech in noise recognition task.
