Hearing simulator research: call for participants

A research team from Imperial College London is recruiting London-based individuals with hearing loss for an experiment developing a hearing loss simulator.

During the experiment the team will screen your hearing (sound and temporal gap detection task, loudness comfort assessment) and assess your ability to understand speech in background noise.

As a thank-you for taking part, you will receive a £10 Amazon voucher.

The appointment will be at Imperial College London (South Kensington Campus).

If you want to participate in our study, are above 18 and have mild-to-moderate sensorineural hearing loss, please contact Thibault Vicente (t.vicente@imperial.ac.uk) and/or Angeliki Mourgela (a.mourgela@imperial.ac.uk).

The experiment protocol has been approved by the University’s Research Governance and Integrity Team.
