Audiology in Scotland: your feedback requested

In January 2022 the Scottish Government announced that a National Review of hospital based Audiology Services would be carried out.

Part of this review would include giving the public the  opportunity to share their experiences accessing services and their thoughts on what services should look like in the future.

The Health and Social Care Alliance has been commissioned to engage with the people of Scotland to capture their audiology experiences.

This includes parents of young children, young people and adults who have accessed audiology services as well as professionals from health, social care and education.

They want to hear what is working well, what could be improved and what people think services should look like in the future.

There are three ways to get involved:

  1. Complete an online survey
  2. Join a virtual focus group
  3. Share your experience by email or letter

The Alliance will publish a report based on the findings which will be shared with the National Audiology Review team. By sharing your experiences and your views, you will be helping shape audiology services of the future.
