Engaging with professionals

Next month (October) the Hearing Loss Services team will be attending the 18th annual British Academy of Audiology (BAA) Conference and Exhibition in Manchester.

We will be using the platform as an opportunity to build our relationships with audiologists across the UK. Our team of staff and volunteers will host a small exhibition stand offering information to delegates about our wider range of Hearing Link Services and how they could support their patients or clients.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our ties with hearing care professionals and raise awareness of our support for individuals and their families. Each delegate will take away a pack with a sample of our literature, as well as information about a new professionals section on our website.

The BAA conference is first of a few events this year where we will engage with professionals and other key stakeholders to raise the profile of our work. We will also be meeting lipreading teachers at the ATLA conference on 8 October with a similar aim.
