However, as with all  external organisations, do only share as much personal details as you are comfortable with.  If you are interested, use the contact details below and let us know you are part of the project.

Sven Koster the Head of New Business Development and Innovation at GoMedia says:

GoMedia has won ‘First of a Kind’ funding from the Department for Transport (DfT) for its latest accessibility solution, ‘Project Luna’.
Developed using Signapse technology and tested by Arriva Rail London on London Overground stations, Luna aims to revolutionise transport accessibility for users of British Sign Language (BSL) by translating digital journey information into BSL via a personalised avatar.

In this new project, GoMedia is planning to bring station announcements, departure information, station facilities all to your mobile device through a webpage. Besides being able to access this in different written languages, including British Sign Language.

This project will go live on a UK train operator and be tested with their passengers.  To make sure this product works we are looking for all type of users, including deaf / hard of hearing people and British Sign Language users. By providing your feedback on an early-stage prototype you will influence the final design of the product before it goes live into service.

If you are interested, we will put you on a mailing list as well as notify you when the service goes live. This will give you the opportunity to then feedback to us and the operator about your overall experience of such a service offering.

If you want to shape the future of making announcements and departure information accessible to everyone and participate in this project, please reach out to sven.koster@gomedia.io.
