Hearing aid users needed for gaming workshop

The University of Nottingham is looking for hearing aid users of all aged to take part in workshops for digital gaming applications.

It has collaborated with the Imperial College, De Montfort University, the University of Malaga, and several  gaming companies across Europe to develop five digital gaming applications.

The purpose of the apps being developed is to assist hearing aid users to customise their hearing aid devices in various environmental scenarios and to increase understanding of individuals without hearing impairment of the impact of hearing loss in everyday life.

As part of the project, the team will conduct a series of workshops in January and February 2017 in Nottingham and London.

They would like to hear from adults and older adults who hearing aids and audiologists who would like to test the gaming apps and help evaluate them.
