Lipreading trust looking for new trustees

The Central England Lipreading Support Trust (CELST) are recruiting a new chairperson and trustees to join its successful team and lead them into the next stage of its development.

CELST is a registered UK charity based in central England that has been running free to participate lipreading and deaf awareness courses throughout the region since 2013, benefitting hundreds of hard of hearing clients and their families.

Prospective candidates for the role of chairperson must have good leadership skills, tact, good communication and interpersonal skills.

CELST also need trustees to help maintain current activities and expand them. They are particularly looking for potential trustees with skills in one or more of the following areas:

  • Marketing
  • HR
  • Social Media and websites

Both roles are unpaid but reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
