Advisory committee seeks new members

The Inclusive Mobility and Transport Advisory Committee (IMTAC) in Northern Ireland is recruiting new members.

IMTAC is a Committee of 18 people including deaf people, disabled people, older people, carers, and transport professionals. Its role is to advise the Northern Ireland government on issues that affect the mobility of those with additional needs.

The work of the Committee is sponsored by the Department for Infrastructure, but works closely with other departments, local councils and transport providers.

IMTAC is looking for people who are passionate about making travel, streets and places, accessible and inclusive for everyone.

New members will be appointed for three years starting in June 2023. IMTAC is committed to making all reasonable adjustments to ensure that everyone can participate in the work of the Committee on an equal basis. Members are not paid, but will receive reimbursement for any costs including travel.

To find out more, visit the IMTAC website.
