Boogie Boards lifeline for NHS patients

Boogie Boards supplied by Hearing Link are supporting NHS patients with communication difficulties in Norfolk and Norwich.

Fourteen boards were purchased for the Head and Neck team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, after they supported patient Rod Bridger who recently had a Laryngectomy.

Rod found it difficult to communicate after the procedure and the Boogie Board, purchased via our online shop, helped him to stay connected to his wife Eve.

The couple were so delighted with the product, they teamed up with the Grand Order of the Water Rats men’s guild to buy the boards for the department.

The Boogie Boards will be used by patients to aid communication including those with hearing difficulties.
