Hearing loss and accessing legal services

The Scottish Legal Aid Board (SLAB) wants people with a hearing to share their experiences of accessing legal services for civil matters.

It is working with the British Deaf Association Scotland (BDA) www.bda.org.uk,  the Scottish Council on Deafness (SCoD) www.scod.org.uk and the Deaf Sector Partnership http://deafsectorpartnership.net/ to carry out a short survey.

Civil legal matters include divorce or separation, buying a house or making a will.

The survey takes 5-15 minutes to complete and the responses will be treated anonymously.
