Get involved in the Great British Dog Walk

This year’s Great British Dog Walks are being held at some of the most iconic stately homes and country parks the beautiful British countryside has to offer.

These walks have proved very popular over the years, and have helped to raise thousands of pounds towards all of the Charity’s services.

So we are expecting large turnouts in 2024 which means we need as much help as possible.  If you would like to be involved in this year’s event, please get in touch with Alison.

What is involved?

Walkers will all start off en-masse, so we need help with registering and marshalling participants at the start of the event. It will be busy, but there’ll lots of fun with everyone mucking in together.

There will also be a Hearing Link Services information table, offering information about our services. We’d like you to be on hand when people return from the walk to provide further information about the many ways we can support deaf people, and how they can get in touch with us.

Join an event!

If you would like to be involved in this year’s Great British Dog Walk, please contact Alison for fuller details of how it will all work on the day. She will also introduce you to the Community Fundraising Manager organising the particular walk nearest to you.

It’s a great opportunity to get out in the sunshine (well, we can’t really promise that, but let’s be positive!) and meet our Hearing Dogs colleagues – staff and volunteers.
