Student research into wellbeing and emotions in deaf adults

Clinical Psychology student Jessica Creighton is conducting a research study into the wellbeing and emotions in deaf adults.

She is looking for persons aged 18 and over, who have hearing loss, to complete an online study.

This survey will ask questions about deafness, how they feel, their wellbeing and their relationships. This should take around 15-20 minutes to complete, but there is no time limit.

Previous research suggests that feelings, relationships and wellbeing may be linked.  This study will look at how these are linked in deaf adults. It is hoped that this will improve how professionals support deaf adults with their mental health and wellbeing.
