Hearing Support Centre opens

Beneficiaries attending our southern training centre in Buckinghamshire can now benefit from our new facilities known as the Hearing Support Centre.

This wonderful new building, known as the Hearing Support Centre, will welcome applicants for on-site assessments for hearing dogs and is also home to our Hearing Hub.

It was opened by members of the Hearing Loss Services department and two of our hearing dog applicants last month (May) when a ribbon cutting ceremony was performed.

As you can see from our images, the Hearing Support Centre is designed to be a welcoming home for our beneficiaries. We have two assessment rooms, and a third room hosts the Hearing Hub. The calming décor and soft furnishings ensure the centre is a safe and relaxed environment for those we support.

Sue Bailey, Central Support Team manager, said: “We are delighted to have a purpose-built Centre to help us fully support our beneficiaries needs. What a difference this will make to the team, being able to welcome our guests into such a relaxed environment.  The feedback from both guests and staff so far has been so positive.”
