Our Hearing Information Days are back!

Our popular Hearing Information Days are returning this summer, offering information and support for people with hearing loss, their families and friends.

Hearing Information Days are an opportunity to meet people who have benefitted from our services, and some of the many peer support volunteers who are a key part of our service delivery.

Visitors can also learn more about how we train our life-changing hearing dogs and find out about our wide range of personalised services including a HelpdeskLinkUp support groups and products to support hearing.

There will also be a chance to browse our exhibition stands which may include lipreading tutors, audiology services, assistive technology to use alongside hearing aids, and other practical information. Full list of exhibitors to be confirmed shortly.

Our Hearing Information Days will take place:-

  • At The Beatrice Wright Centre in Bielby (near York) on Saturday 15 July (11-3pm)
  • At *The Grange in Saunderton, near Princes Risborough, Bucks, on Friday 29 September (11am-4pm)

*Please note: For our event at The Grange we will host two sessions on the day – morning and afternoon. The content will be the same for both sessions.

Angie Southcott, Director of Hearing Loss Services, said: “Our inaugural Hearing Information Days last summer were extremely popular.

“It was lovely to welcome many new and familiar faces to our events so they could find out more about our services, connect with others and meet providers who could support them on their hearing journey.

“We look forward to welcoming more visitors to our 2023 events and support them as the begin or continue to seek solutions to living well with hearing loss.”

Hearing Information Days are free to attend. Booking is encouraged – please register here.
