Project ISSSL is inviting couples to take part in a new, international study to share experiences of sensory loss.

Project ISSSL is run by the University of Copenhagen, Denmark and the University of Montréal, Canada.

The aim of this study is to further understand couples’ experiences by asking the following questions:

  • Does sensory loss affect both partner’s lives?
  • What coping mechanisms are most helpful for couples’ adjustment?
  • What kinds of support are most helpful for both partners?

Participants must be aged 18 years or older, wherein one or both partners have sensory loss.

In recognition of your participation, every couple will receive a free booklet detailing the main findings of the survey and will be entered into a draw to win a $150 voucher.

If you would like to take part, you can learn more about the study and how to sign up here.
