Owls hold secret to ageless ears

Scientists have discovered that owls may hold the key to developing treatment for human hearing problems. 

Barn owls keep their acute sense of hearing into old age, according to new findings from scientists.

The research, published in the journal, Royal Society Proceedings B, was carried out on seven captive barn owls.
