Community outreach
Our regular outreach sessions continued in May in London and Edinburgh with 16 people stopping for help and advice for themselves or in one case for their neighbour.
The value of spending time with a Hearing Link Services peer support volunteer, coming from a place of lived experience cannot be underestimated.

Our Edinburgh sessions are set to continue throughout the summer months. They will take place on the following dates:
- June 16th
- July 21st
- August 18th
- September 15th
- October 20th
The June 8th session at Mycenae House in London will be the last one of the summer and will return in September.
All peer support volunteers have access to the Charity’s Hello2 app (pictured above). This means everyone can safely and securely collect contact details from any member of the public. They are then followed up with by a Central Support advisor on referral of the volunteer. Do ask if you haven’t downloaded it yet.
