Let’s Hear Salford awareness event

A very successful Let’s Hear event was held by the Let’s Hear Salford group.

The afternoon, held at the Pendleton Gateway Centre, was a Hearing Awareness drop in and a celebration of the hard work and achievements of the group to date.

It also offered the people of Salford the opportunity to visit a variety of information stands, try out equipment and hopefully sign up as a loop checker for the Hearing Link project.

The event was opened by His Worship the Ceremonial Mayor of Salford, Cllr Peter Conn and was also an opportunity for our Let’s Hear Officer Michael Britland  to meet up again with Mike Collier, Chair of the Let’s Hear Salford Project Steering Group and the many Rotarian supporters of Let’s Hear.

Michael also had the opportunity to talk to the attendees, emphasising the aim of ‘better hearing for all in the community’.
